In case you were thinking she looks different. Once it was completed I moved Jaron and Miriam in right away!Īnd they both had that look of love in their eyes for each other. Guys, I am SO not an interior decorator, but I am beyond happy with the way this home turned out. Let’s go out into the backyard now. They’ve got a nice outdoor cooking and dining area… Sorry I didn’t get a picture of that either… The third bedroom I turned into an office/guest room. 👶 I went with a gender neutral wall color as I want to be surprised with their first baby.ĭidn’t get a pic of the bathroom by the Nursery – whoops – but it’s all good.

The Master Bath was WAY too small for my tastes – and wasn’t even connected to the bedroom, that bugs me – so I fixed that by taking the 4th bedroom and opening it up to connect the bathroom and also make it bigger. ^Across from the shoe rack and suitcases there is the door to the Master Bath. 😆 It’s not my normal decorating style and I can’t believe how much fun I had doing it! 😃 I think the energy from the color Yellow really compliments Miriam’s bright and cheerful personality.😊(I just figure Jaron let her have her way with the decorating like a good husband should.
But you can see it from the aerial view of the floorplan above. The hallway at the top of the stairs looks down into the foyer. We’ll check out the backyard in a bit, but for now let’s head upstairs. Off to the right is a computer nook and the Christmas tree will be displayed by the bay window. (Normally that’s where the art easel is.) Next we’ll head into the kitchen, which opens up into the Living room and Dining. (I started Christmas decorating, but thought it best to hold off on that until I take pics of how the house normally looks on the inside. ) Let’s turn around a bit to see the stairs. You got the family room straight ahead and then the kitchen off to the right. Here’s the view when you walk into the Entryway/Foyer: So let’s take a tour through the home shall we? 😊 😊 It was fun going cc hunting for this too even though I so don’t need anymore cc. With inspiration from ‘s interior decorating – as well as watching a bit of HGTV lately and always getting the magazine – I went and decorated the home in today’s style! (At least, I hope it’s today’s style. There are so many different ones!) I used some shabby chic and pops of color and I’d love to hear what y’all think of it.

I found a house from my Library and plopped it down onto a nice lot. 🙂 Since I wasn’t able to write out a full blown Christmas story this year (2020, yeah that year… 😉 ) I decided to do a “Play and Share” of Jaron and Miriam Hodge – the main characters from my Aurora Skies Christmas Romance Tale – and showcase a little bit of their future together and what happens. One of the things I really like about playing premades is that I seriously would have never made a sim that looks like Gunnar Hannes, but he’s ended up being cool.Hello everyone. So he and his Lada Penny moved into the Vinter household, which I’d been planning on playing next anyway. So I sent him over to her house and just turned them loose to see what happened and they were super flirty and whatnot, and also a few other times when they’d run into each other out. I didn’t get a chance to do much else, because days in of not having any wants at ALL related to his girlfriend, and her not calling him to chat, etc., boom. All I did was change the zoning from commercial to residential (originally an elixir shop), took out some of the magic-y things so he wouldn’t mess with them, and got him a couple of creature comforts. I had moved him into Shack in the Woods by Norn because I love love love the vibe of that lot, and it suited him perfectly. Here was his original house, it was okay but nothing special.Īnd here was his new house, which I liked a lot. So the next household was Gunnar Hannes, who lived by himself.
